Heritage Show + Tell, 13 March 2014

Heritage Show + Tell is a chance for people passionate about heritage in Yorkshire to come together and share their work, get feedback on ideas and meet new collaborators.  Everyone welcome: community heritage groups, freelancers, museum professionals, students and academics.

The next Heritage Show + Tell will be hosted by Leeds Museums and Galleries on Thursday 13 March 2014. Join us for a tour of the Leeds Art Gallery at 4pm, followed by Heritage Show + Tell from 5pm to 7pm around the corner at Leeds City Museum.

We have seven three minutes presentations followed by lots of opportunity to meet and mingle.  Speakers include:

Nick Cass (Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage, University of Leeds), Intersecting Practices (or 'What Happens When You See a Ghost at the Bronte Parsonage?')

Abigail Harrison Moore (Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage, University of Leeds), What is the EPQ?: Engaging 16-18 year olds in museum, gallery and archive collections

Jude Woods (Leeds Art Gallery), Queer Culture – queers queering the queer
