In this workshop, professional artist and mural specialist Kasia Breska will talk about and demonstrate the practical aspects of her restoration work on the Chilean Mural at Leeds University Union, as well as sharing her wider work as a mural artist.

The session will feature an opportunity to view Kasia’s work on the Chilean mural, discussion of the methods used, and a practical painting session overview of other mural projects.

By the end of the session, you will have gained an insight into the practicalities of working on mural projects as a professional artist.

This workshop is organised by Leeds University Union in partnership with the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies. It is in connection with a project around the restoration of the Chilean Mural at Leeds University Union, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
