Development Assistant opportunity at Kettle's Yard, Cambridge

Kettle's Yard is a House with a permanent collection of twentieth century artworks, library and an archive, together with a gallery presenting a changing programme of modern and contemporary art exhibitions and artists projects. It has an international reputation for its activities that include concerts of new and classical music and an extensive programme of education activities.

There is currently a vacancy for a Development Assistant, who will work directly with the Head of Development to implement Kettle's Yard's fundraising strategy to support ongoing activity as well as a major capital development project. The role holder will undertake research, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, support the delivery of events, and ensure the efficient administration of the Development department.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to develop relationships with people at all levels, and an interest in fundraising within an arts environment.

The post is funded through the Arts Council England Catalyst scheme and supports the Catalyst fundraising plan, which aims to build organisational resilience through a programme of fundraising initiatives.

This is a full time position. It is an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Salary: £18,185-£20,972
