Do you have proven abilities to carry out teaching in Art Gallery, Museum and Heritage Studies?

Would you like to contribute to the research of the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies? 

As a Lecturer in Art Gallery, Museum and Heritage Studies, you will be expected to undertake the normal range of duties that arise in connection with the teaching of postgraduate modules, including contributing to sessions, leading workshops, teaching students, carrying out assessment, marking and moderation. You will serve as a personal tutor to a small number of tutees and will supervise MA dissertations on the MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies and MA Arts Management and Heritage Studies.

You will have a PhD in a field related to Art Gallery, Museum and Heritage Studies, or to a cognate discipline and with relevant teaching experience, you will be committed to delivering an excellent student experience and will contribute to the School’s research culture as part of the Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage.

Post: Part-time (40% FTE); fixed term (13 Months)
Salary:  £34,956 to £38,833 p.a. pro rata (Grade 7)
