Weird. Wonderful. Eerie. Located in an industrial warehouse which could be anywhere and nowhere, The Retro Bar at the End of the Universe presents The Public Secret.

This interventional work aims to find new ways to discuss politics and wellbeing in the 21st century. Drawing on submissions made to the Public Secret Instagram account and results from the “what if (?)”, General Election of Governing Emotions (#GE18), The Retro Bar at the End of the Universe will develop an amorphous landscape of ever changing artwork in drawing, sculpture and sound installation.

We invite you to join us for our exhibition launch on Friday 31 August (6.30 to 8.00pm), plus artists’ tours/talks and a series of artist led workshops (all ages and experience-levels welcome).

Who are we?

The Retro Bar at the End of The Universe is an artist-led collective. We create spaces for thought and conversation on the current state of play within contemporary society.
