Postgraduate Researcher Dominic Bilton will be speaking about the exhibition (Un)Defining Queer at this year's Queer Heritage and Collections Network Symposium.

The Network supports galleries, libraries, archives and museums that are developing public programming and each speaker has been invited to discuss their own institutional LGBTQIA+ projects.

The Queer Heritage and Collections Network annual symposium aims to explore the innovative and meaningful queer programming being developed by museums and heritage organisations across the UK.

Taking place over two days, the symposium programme includes talks, showcases and workshops.

Dominic Bilton, Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds and Project Producer at The Whitworth, will be taking part in a Fundee Showcase on 20 March. Dominic’s talk will focus on how a financial award given to the Whitworth by the Queer Heritage and Collection Network will help the gallery continue its queer constituent work.
