Registrar traineeship opportunity in Leeds

The Royal Armouries (Leeds), Leeds Museums and Galleries and the University of Leeds are offering a unique opportunity for two exceptional candidates who are interested in the work of museum registrars.

This successful training project is looking for individuals who are interested in developing a career as a museum registrar. The collaborative programme encompasses practical hands-on experience in both museum organisations and a programme of academic study to help support the trainee, as part of the MA in Art Gallery & Museum Studies at the University of Leeds.

This is a part-time (0.8 fte) fixed term traineeship running from 23 September 2013 to 1 September 2014, working 30 hours per week (5 days out of 7).

Salary: £12,000 per annum
Dual site role based at Royal Armouries (Leeds) and Leeds Museums and Galleries
