The Group for Education in Museum conference – People Power: realizing the potential of volunteers, communities and partners – comes to Leeds 3rd-5th September. Helen Graham, University Research Fellow in Tangible and Intangible Heritage and Director, Centre for Critical Studies in Museum, Galleries and Heritage will be a keynote speaker and will explore how principles of horizontality might support more mutually rewarding community participation.

Heritage Show + Tell is a chance for people passionate about heritage in Yorkshire to come together and share their work, get feedback on ideas and meet new collaborators.
The next Heritage Show + Tell will be hosted by the brand new Experience Barnsley, the first ever Barnsley Museum which opened at the end of June. Join us for a tour of the new museum at 4pm. We will then kick off Heritage Show + Tell at 5pm.
