Performing the Past

'Performing the Past: exploring the heritage of working-class communities in Yorkshire' was a White Rose Universities Consortium funded network project. Mark Westgarth was part of the project team; the project aimed to unite academics, doctoral students and professionals from Yorkshire’s cultural and heritage industries in order to generate new models for telling stories about the past. A series of workshops during 2013 at various museum venues will explored themes such as the Power of Performance, Space and Place, and Objects as Media for Storytelling.
